Description
Designed for a carer to monitor when someone gets out of bed, wheelchair or chair to help prevent falls and wandering. Â A pull cord attaches to the user’s clothing which when detached will sound an alarm. Â The alarm can only be reset by entering a four digit key code on the main unit, or via the supplied infrared remote control. Â This eliminates the risk of the alarm being turned off by the user without being attended to by the carer. Â It has loud or soft volume settings, with two alarm sounds, and can be silenced and connected to a nurse call system for remote alarm signalling if required. Â The alarm features adjustable sand-by time in order to allow the the carer to reposition the person without the alarm being triggered again. Â Can also be used with optional sensor mats (sold separately) which are placed underneath the person. Â When pressure is placed or removed from the mat, the alarm will be triggered. Â Features versatile mounting base and wall hanger, and a cable holder to prevent accidental disconnection. Â The alarm unit is plastic with a tough, rubberised housing for protection against damage caused by dropping on hard floors.
Requires either 4xAA batteries (not included) or and optional mains adaptor. Â Features low battery indicator.
